Logikally correct

I woke up at 9, yawning and walking aimlessly, sat in front of the computer staring at the blank 22inch wide monitor I bought a week ago. I remembered how the conversation with Dha starts on friday evening,

Dha: So, what plans for weekend?

me: no plans.

Logik pointed out the anima in me was getting out of proportion ( Damn you, PV!?) [ Read here ], I seriously think the whole thing is really funny because the gender analyser seems very interesting. Especially after you see the results:

Ok, so here is what I will do:

1. logic i; i = $RandomPLI(0,1,TEST_SEED); result = (i)? “man”: “woman”;

If > 10,000 people use this, I bet you will get the above results.

It is not good enough. so here is more logic(k):

2. Fetch the page with name “About me”. Use a filter for man or woman. Or maybe search for orkut / facebook profile names if present? If phone numbers are filtered. then you are really lucky, the program places a blank call and then does signal processing on the voice recorded, to find out if the blog owner is male or female. Ofcourse, nobody likes pra(n)c(k)tical solutions.

How is the above procedure dumb compared to feeding enormous test cases to neural networks? Believe me, IT IS NOT! In the present system you don’t need to feed any test cases, it will figure it out itself. But, unfortunately, does not help the future AI ( zomfg ) machines. We should help them by feeding test cases.

P.S. I would like to thank Logik for reminding me that I should feed more data. There you go, I now have a purpose to write posts.
